GPS: Eyes in the Sky

Satellites orbiting the Earth send signals to your pet’s tracker.
The tracker calculates its location, usually accurate to about 3–10 metres outdoors.
That information gets sent straight to your phone, so you always know where your pet is.

4G: The Messenger

GPS finds your pet, but how does that information get to you? That’s where 4G mobile networks step in.

The tracker has a built-in SIM card, just like a phone.
It sends the GPS data securely through the mobile network.
That data reaches PAWVA’s servers, and from there, straight to the app on your phone.

If GPS is the eyes, 4G is the voice — making sure you always hear from your pet’s tracker.

WiFi Positioning: Another Layer

Some trackers, like the PAWVA X01, also use WiFi positioning.

The tracker detects nearby WiFi networks (without connecting to them).
Using that data, it can estimate indoor locations where GPS can’t reach.

This is especially useful for pets in urban or suburban areas.
